{"id":1880,"date":"2024-07-23T12:35:49","date_gmt":"2024-07-23T10:35:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latempesta.cc\/wplatempesta2024\/projecte\/gala-salvador-dali-foundation-digital-strategy-plan\/"},"modified":"2026-04-14T10:42:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T08:42:08","slug":"gala-salvador-dali-foundation-digital-strategy-plan","status":"publish","type":"projecte","link":"https:\/\/latempesta.cc\/en\/projecte\/gala-salvador-dali-foundation-digital-strategy-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation Digital Strategy Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\n          <strong>Promoting the legacy of Salvador Dal\u00ed and Gala in the digital world<\/strong>\n        <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-col-laboracio-entre-la-fundacio-gala-salvador-dali-i-la-tempesta-per-projectar-el-llegat-de-salvador-dali-i-gala-al-mon-digital-en-evolucio-constant-nbsp\">Collaboration between the Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation and La Tempesta to project the legacy of Salvador Dal\u00ed and Gala in the digital world, which is constantly evolving.  <\/h2>\n\n<p>Starting with the new design of the institutional website and an ecosystem of contents that includes the re-design of new reasoned catalogues, highlighting the figure of Gala on the website and differentiated pages dedicated to the museum&#8217;s current affairs.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project has been developed jointly with the teams of the Centre for Dalinian Studies and Digital Transformation of the Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation, integrating diverse profiles of the La Tempesta team \u2014 documentalists, developers and digital humanists.<\/p>\n\n<p>In a previous phase, La Tempesta supported the process of defining the digital strategy of the Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation, together with Conxa Rod\u00e0. This process, led by the Digital Transformation Management and Directorate, involved the collaboration of all the Foundation&#8217;s departments to analyse the present and future of the museum, identify its digital needs and opportunities, and lay the foundations for a digital strategy consistent with the institutional mission. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-web-institucional-i-ecosistema-de-continguts\">Institutional website and content ecosystem<\/h2>\n\n<p>The website of the Gala-Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation brings together information on the different museums (the Dal\u00ed triangle), the institutional dimension and the consultation spaces of both Dal\u00ed&#8217;s work and the Foundation&#8217;s own collection, together with the scientific production of the Centre for Dalinian Studies. The result is a digital ecosystem structured in a tidy and modular way, which transforms a set of complex content into a clear, accessible and rigorous experience. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-resultats\">Results<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Organization of complex content in a clear architecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integration of documentary and curatorial work in a digital environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scalable system, ready for continuous expansions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinated development with the Foundation&#8217;s teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The structure of the new content articulates access to and understanding of the artistic legacy through different areas (Active links that take users directly to a specific section of the page):<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Redesign of the reasoned catalogues of painting and sculpture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and development of own microsites for temporary exhibitions, including the 50th anniversary of the Dal\u00ed Theatre-Museum, <em>The Madonna of Portlligat<\/em> and  <em>Dal\u00ed \/ Horst. What makes this transformation significant is its nature of <em>work in progress<\/em>. Unlike printed formats, the catalogue evolves, expands and remains open.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The Catalogue Raisonn\u00e9 of Salvador Dal\u00ed&#8217;s Work is the result of the rigorous work of the Centre for Dalinian Studies. This tool is divided into two large sections: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Catalogue Raisonn\u00e9 of Paintings: collects the pictorial production of the master of Figueres, offering detailed information on each work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Catalogue Raisonn\u00e9 of Sculptures and Three-Dimensional Work: allows us to discover Dal\u00ed&#8217;s relevance as a sculptor, with a collection of his sculptural works from his beginnings to 1936, a facet of genius that is often less known but equally fascinating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>\n          <a href=\"https:\/\/catalogues.salvador-dali.org\/catalogues\/ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/catalogues.salvador-dali.org\/catalogues\/ca\/<\/a>\n        <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"464\" height=\"261\" data-src=\"https:\/\/latempesta.cc\/wp-content\/smush-webp\/2026\/04\/cataleg-raonat-edited-1.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2726 lazyload\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 464px; Crossed looks.  Photography exhibition<\/h2>\n\n<p>The microsite developed for the exhibition &#8220;Dal\u00ed \/ Horst. Crossed Looks&#8221; at the Gala Dal\u00ed Castle in P\u00fabol presents the creative dialogue between the Dal\u00eds and the German-born photographer Horst P. Horst.<\/p>\n\n<p>The exhibition invites us to explore the gaze of these two authors who have left an indelible mark on the collective imagination and who, even today, continue to be influential in the fields of fashion and art.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project is integrated into the Foundation&#8217;s digital ecosystem as a specific piece, with a clear structure that allows intersecting narratives to be articulated and adapted to the requirements of a temporary exhibition.<\/p>\n\n<p>La Tempesta has conceptualized and built the microsite based on the images and contents of the exhibition, guidelines of the Foundation&#8217;s graphic identity manual. Our contribution to the project lies in the editorial and design decisions that structure the experience: the selection and presentation of the photographic works, organized into thematic sections such as La Model, Vogue, Portraits and Contact Sheets; the visual chronology that places Dal\u00ed and Horst in their shared context, integrating archive images along a temporal journey that spans from 1939 to the sixties; and a navigation that invites you to discover the connections between both authors in a progressive and poetic way.
